  • Public Relations

The team at Albion always ask what the objectives are for a client in seeking PR. The reasons vary from client to client and we realise that without understanding these reasons we can’t begin to devise the right strategy to ensure that those needs are fulfilled.

Current clients include: BBC Radio 3; The Classic FM Concert Series at Indig02; The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; Sir John Eliot Gardiner; the Monteverdi Choir; Marin Alsop; the BPI, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra; Cheltenham Festival of Music; Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra; Rosenblatt Recitals; Genesis Foundation; The English Concert; Harry Bicket; Matthew Barley; Roxanna Panufnik; Onyx Classics; The Choir of St John’s, Cambridge; Signum; Hilliard Ensemble; PentaTone; Brilliant Classics; Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music; Alina Ibragimova; Jennifer Pike; Ruth Palmer; Matthew Trusler; Passionato, sinfonia ViVA and Libor Novacek.

Albion Media’s PR team uses their network of contacts throughout Europe to generate coverage in all areas of the media and have successfully delivered both a traditional pr strategy and on-line pr strategies.

    Digital marketing services

Digital marketing is central to Albion Media’s work with clients ranging from record labels, live events to individual artists and we’ve become highly adept at devising campaigns that ensure our clients have effective visibility on-line.

Furthermore, this specialist knowledge of digital marketing ensures our clients are visible in the right on-line spaces as the opportunities continue to grow in the on-line world. Careful targeting is required to reach the right consumer and the content of the message must be strong.

Albion Media can also work on its clients behalf through the social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook and YouTube, utilising the increasing number of classical forums and blogs.

    Websites

Albion Media’s digital expertise also includes designing and building websites. We have a team of designers on hand to either refresh a client’s existing website or build a new one from scratch. Our creative approach includes advising on the content and features that will make the most of a client’s site.

Customer Relations Management (CRM) is a vital tool for all websites to create a two way exchange of thoughts between the organisation and their current or potential customers. Using CRM, Albion Media can help organisations to understand and also anticipate the needs of their customers therefore putting themselves in a position of advantage. The first step in implementing CRM is to put in place sign-up pages that allow visitors to register on the site to receive further information. Thereafter this data can be used to develop an e-mail relationship with those visitors.

Albion Media can also put web site metrics in place to allow clients to see who is visiting their web site and where they come from. This allows us to pinpoint the most and least popular areas on web sites and then develop them further to improve the overall content and traffic.

Albion Media is also equipped to make podcasts for clients and these can be posted on the client’s own website, on Albion Media’s or offered to iTunes or the other digital service providers that are emerging in the classical world.

Most of all, Albion Media understands in the digital space that content is king! The information contained in any kind of digital communication must be as relevant as it is for the physical world. Albion Media’s exceptional knowledge of the classical industry and considerable PR skills ensures that the message, whether it be for websites, podcasts or on-line forums is relevant and of a high quality.

    UK marketing services

Our team will construct and then deliver creative marketing strategies for releases, both physical and digital, that ensure sales targets are met and that the product is communicated to its target audience. In an increasingly fragmented market place we realise that making your audiences aware of your product is becoming increasing difficult and that relying on previous models isn’t enough any more.

    International marketing services

Albion is ideally placed to work with record label personnel around the world to ensure that all marketing and PR goals are achieved. Albion works with a number of major and independent record labels on a wide-range of services including: all aspects of product management; the co-ordination of international release schedules; devising marketing campaigns; artist relations & artist management liaison; ensuring excellent set up for a CD’s release by providing relevant marketing tools alongside the necessary promotional support.

Albion Media has excellent contacts with Digital Service Providers such as iTunes to ensure that releases are correctly profiled when placed in the digital store.

By working closely with record label personnel in their offices around the world we ensure that realistic budgets are in place, that effective marketing plans are formulated and then delivered upon.

    Product management for record labels

Albion Media’s marketing and production team have over 35 years experience working for major record labels in roles that allows them to offer a range of services and expertise that’s hard to match.

Albion Media can manage the whole process of production for physical and digital releases covering the detailed processes of setting up recordings for manufacture. We can offer superb design and multilingual editorial services to create a first class product. We can then negotiate prices on behalf of our clients at manufacturing plants, manage stock levels and ensure effective distribution world wide for both digital and physical releases. Our expertise in this area is second to none.

    Live event marketing

Albion Media works with many clients on the marketing of their concerts and public events. We devise a tailor-made plan that reflects a client’s budget that includes digital campaigns, the creation of brochures, leaflets and the utilisation of the right mailing lists to ensure increased attendance. For the Genesis Foundation’s concert of contemporary music at Westminster Cathedral in June 2008 we secured coverage in several national newspapers including the Financial Times and the Sunday Telegraph, plus we implemented a marketing campaign that ensured that we had over two thousand requests for the 900 available places in the Cathedral.

    Events

Albion Media is a trusted partner with agents and artists. Through our widespread network of contacts we can deliver artists of the highest level to perform at functions and receptions for private clients world wide. These can range from small-scale, intimate recitals to large scale productions involving choirs, orchestras and soloists.
